한국의 복면가왕이 뉴질랜드 채널3에서 뉴질랜드 버전으로 새롭게 The Masked Singer NZ이라는 이름으로 방영중 입니다. 12명의 연예인이 나이, 신분, 직종을 숨기고 목소리만으로 실력을 뽐내는 음악 버라이어티 프로그램 입니다. 미국, 영국, 호주 버전으로 방영되어서 큰 인기를 얻고 있다고 합니다.

About
The Masked Singer NZ is a reality singing competition where 12 celebrities compete against each other in song.
The contestants are masked head-to-toe in extravagant costumes, which completely conceal their identities. With the help of some clever clues along the way, New Zealanders and the celebrity guessing panel will have to try to work out which well known celebrity is hiding behind the mask!
Throughout the series, the celebrities will perform both local and international chart toppers, and the studio audience and guessing panel will be asked to vote for their favourite of the night.
While they sing as themselves, when conversing with the host and during any clue packages, their voices are distorted to keep their identities a secret.
The lowest-voted contestant each episode will be unmasked and will have the chance to sing one last time. Weeks of performances will culminate into a final epic showdown where one masked celebrity will take home the coveted golden Masked Singer trophy.
The Masked Singer NZ is based on the South Korean series King Of Mask Singer, which has since inspired hugely popular American, British and Australian versions.
